*The good folks at Jack and Jill Politics posted this video spoofing and featuring the iconic black sci-fi actress Michelle Nichols. After a weeks -- check that -- months of unfair, angry black woman coverage of Michelle Obama, my funny bone couldn't be tickled any better after Jack and Jill found this treasure and place it on their site. Yes, it's plays on stereotypes, but damnit it's meant to be funny. Loosen up!

On a completely unrelated-related subject, this vid reminds me of an early morning NYC bus moment I witnessed several years ago. Our bus had that 7am, week/work day, silence to it until this one unfortunate man asked god knows what to the driver. Not hearing exactly what was said -- I did feel a tinge of demand in this man's voice. The driver then retorted loud enough for even the back of the bus to LOL: "What I say goes. I'm the George Bush of this bus!"
