Revival to End Violence Against Black LGBT Community 7/31/05, 4-7pm
My fabulous roomie is pushin this event to the masses...
REVIVAL! to end Violence Againgst Black LGBT Community 7/31/05 4-7pm
PLEASE FORWARD WIDELY:
4 Black gay men have been murdered in NYC since Feb. 2005 and another has been severely assaulted. These attacks have taken place in a climate made increasingly hostile towards Black LGBT people in NYC by some ministers. A coalition is forming to encourage more Black leaders in the faith community to become active in ending violence against LGBT people of African descent in NYC! Come help us celebrate this momentous occasion with our kick-off event that will be a celebration of the victory of grace over spiritual violence!
