WTO Hong Kong Protests + Tookie Williams

Clearly theres a lot going on in this world today. From the WTO protests in Hong Kong to Tookie Williams execution by the State of California, the Austrailian white mobs indiscriminately attacking arab-appearing people... to the woman on the 3 train last night, appearing homeless and probably in a deep mental breakdown... All of those images and violent moments distrub me. Yet they are with me, on this day as I go about it...

For the latest on the massive protests of the WTO in Hong Kong, check out this site put up by CAAV, a new york city based activist org for asian communities thats brought a contingent down to join in on the actions. Keep checkin this out, they've been putting daily updates on it with pix/text.

Also, I'm going to try to find the link to it later, but Tookie was featured on Democracy Now! about a week or so ago. Definitely hunt it down, it impressed upon me what a courgeous individual he has been and will continue to be after his passing.
