Was perusing a friend's myspace blog and came across this very dope and well framed argument "from a Black Actress Perspective."

Highlights:

By arguing that Hollywood only recognizes the "Aunt Jemima, the "magical negro", or the "filthy slut" undermines, demeans and belittles the historical accomplishments of Black actors. It also exposes the paucity of knowledge about the industry and the craft of acting.
