Mac Under Attack!
Yes, kids, they day has finally arrived. On 2/15, Mac OS X was attacked by a virus... or is it a worm? A Trojan Horse (pull your pants back up boys)? Whatever it is... this is pretty big news in the mac world since Apple prides itself in security and before this momemnt, the lack of any of the attacks that MS users experience daily.
Below is a question I submitted to wp.com's techblog. We'll have to wait and see if it's picked up and answered. In the meantime though, read up more on what the macheads are saying about this from the tech side and the deeper meaning for mac lovers:
What do you think is going on in Apple's situation room right now? Should Steve Job's follow in Dick Cheney's footsteps and partake in the glare of FOX(gasp!)News camera lights... or would Charlie Rose/Amy Goodman be more appropriate? Metaphorically, Apple is getting bigger and more powerful especially the iPod generation, do you think this is the cyberpunks releasing it's activist anger/attack on Macs? What will be Apple's PR response?
