5 Invited guests to my funeral:
With all due respect to Coretta, may she rest in peace, I have become inspired at the selection (by ?) of some of the guests who were invited and given time to speak at her funeral today.
Oprah, Maya, Stevie, and Rev Lowery of SCLC who quoted Stevie's song in saying that "for war, billions more, but no more for the poor..." they were all the bomb. But it was Bush, Clinton, Carter, and Bush Sr, who stole the show: literally! Look how far we've come in this world that four great war mongers can speak at the funeral of mrs. king, purveyor of non violence. and in light of this a-mazing feat i have composed my own list of invited guests to yours truly's funeral. dig my Top 5:
5) UT Law Professor Lino Graglia, b/c he has an opinion about affirmative action and black people too
4) All living U.S. Presidents (i'm taking the dead ones with me damnit!) b/c they like to say the word "peace" a lot and maybe that'll help me rest.
3) Clarence Thomas, cause' he black like me.
2) Amanda Conway from 6th Grade Gym Class, she'll put everybody in high spirits with that great Steve Urkel chant she used to start when I'd be running in the relay races.
1) oh and I want the CFO of Merck Pharmaceuticals to make the eulogy. What better person could speak to the importan$e of my life than this kat?
